tranny swap
does anybody know if I could use the trans, transfer case and front end out of an 83 B2 in an 83 Ranger. I want to convert it to 4x4 but leave the 4cyl in it for now. the ranger has a 2.3L and 4 speed. thanks Ken

You should be able to do your conversion without problems. The engine and tranny, basicly the whole bronco II is the same as your ranger. I have owned a 85 ranger and a 84 bronco II, and i was going to convert the ranger to 4X4 it is easier to go find another ranger that is already 4X4. If you need info on it you should look up advanced adapters,or james duff, they specilize in rangers, and bronco II conversions.
