1939 PU Wind shield frame

I have looked about everyplace for a 1939 PU windshield frame. Can anyone tell me where I could find one, a rplacemnet,or let me know if there is another year windshield frame that will fit my truck

Hello.........Did you ever find a windshield for the 39 pu.

Do you know where I can find the hardware that makes the windshield crank out?
I have the ****.

My crank was broken as well. I did not have any luck finding an after market crank, so I went to the parts sectionin Hemmings Motor News. There are several salvage dealers that supply parts. I foung several, but I got mine fromLowell Kimble in Norfolk Nebraska 402-379-1354. WHen buying from a salvage dealer make sure you request a top of dash crank. I believe only the 38-39 had top of dash cranks. All others come out of the front of the dash.

hey im looking to buy 1939 ford 1 1/2 ton truck as far as i know windshield there i d hole cab fab what i dont need for 500.00 i need a bed and rear fenders

I already have all the parts I need and I am putting my truck back together. I have an old 1/2 ton bed without fenders, but I don't think it will fit your truck. Thanks for your response

39 Windshield Crank

The 39 Windshield crank mechanism is one by itself, it comes out the top of dash at a vertical position.

I have a real good one if your interested, you can email me and I can give you the details.

Also I believe that the 38 Winshield frame is the same as 38
