Question Discontented parts ordered (Mid '04)

Stopped by the Parts Dept. today and ordered the "missing" parts. Thought I would share part #'s. (I'll do the Hood Liner and rubber gaskets, etc later) They actually had the glovebox light in-stock and one of the rear wheel front liners...go figure.

YC3Z-16102-BA Front Wheel Engine Shield
YC3Z-16103-BA Front Wheel Engine Shield
F81Z-9928370-AA Rear Wheel Front Splash Shield (2)
E7DZ-14413-A Glovebox Light/Switch Assembly

I also ordered the set of three lights for the back like duellies, F81Z-15444-AA

Not to rain on the "you done good" part of this, but you will need to order two more rear fender well shields. Takes a total of four plastic parts and 4 plastic push pins that are also seperate items.

(2) F81Z*9928370*CA list 34.52ea
(2) F81Z*9928370*AA list 26.32ea
(4) *389358*S list .79ea

Your 2004 glove box install might be painless but on my 2005 I had to add the wires because Ford eliminated that part of the harness. Luckily the mounting points for the light and switch are still moulded in. Same inside the front door lights, no wiring harness so I had to add it back in and get bulb holder to go right into factory moulded recess.

Thanks for the info but my '04 KR 350 in the back tire wheel well had the rear splash shields, I am only missing the front ones for the back wheel well. I can't speak for others but I only need 2, one each for front per side. I bought the one they had in-stock and I am going to use it as a template to make a set out of a better material. So I am guessing that the '05's don't have any shields in the rear well. That's really bad. As for the plastic push pins I am getting them at the local hardware store for half the price, so I didn't even ask them to order them. As it was I had to force the issue to get them to look up any of these parts, the way they act they don't want to sell parts at the parts dept. I've had the same problem in the past, that is why I use the internet once in awhile, but most companies treat us as another country and over charge for shipping. The next closet dealer is 6 hours away, so you do what you can.

Did you find a harness (2004) to plug in the glovebox socket to? I was going to order one as well....but haven't had time to dig and see if the harness was there.
