Electric Superchargers

What is with these things. They seem like a gimmick to me. Looks like a fan inline with your air cleaner tube, which I guess could help. But they dont' show exactly what they do. That makes me think they are a ripoff. Anyone have one or know someone who has one?

uh, no. There's no way this would do anything remotely good. Otherwise every car in the magazines would have 5 of them in their intakes.

Dude, i thought you were a "Ford Master Technician"

Supposedly it's a 12volt fan that pushes more air into your intake, like a supercharger. Try it out, should be a snap for you to install and test. I think a subwoofer pushes more air than that. I think flatulence pushes more air. Hell, i think no air pushes more air.

Wink

Yeah. I have found out it's kinda like a blower motor or "squirrel cage" type fan. A cold air induction would be better. I had just never heard of them. Never seen one, never seen any in magazines, new to me.

I prefer the "hamster wheel" setup myself. Saving up for the "midget on a treadmill"

Go all out and hook up a leaf-blower to the intake... Now that's power!

I think on the air/fuel mixture...the air would over ride the fuel a little much haha

Well it was kind of hard to understand his slang language he was using, so I thought I would try to make a point about it like that, instead of telling him to talk normal. But I guess I can now, yo "CLIFFDOG" talk normal bro.

Garrett, it really didn't have anything to do with you, but ok.
