help loosing my belt
My power steering belt keeps comming off on my 90 ranger 2.9L with AC. The tension is set tight so the belt has 1/4" of slack. Has anyone had a simialr problem/solution.
I had a similar problem when I had a water pump failure. When the water pump failed the pully moved forward causing all belts to come off (AC/ALT/PS). Since the pullies were not in alignment the belt fly off. Bad design in my opinion. But I am aware of this and my water pump apears to be operating normal.
