98 Ford Ranger Accelerator Problems
I recently got in an accident with my Ranger, but I don't know why it happend. I was in a stopped position, in drive, an I had my foot on the brake, or so I believe, and all of a sudden my car accelerated at full speed into a tree 20ft away. I don't know how this could have happend, if I had accidently placed my foot on the pedal I would have had to put on as much gas as I could to accelerate as fast as I did, and I know that I did not put on the gas that much, I don't even believe my foot was putting on the gas at all.
Does anyone know of any kinds of problems with the 98 Ford Ranger 4.0? Are there any recalls? Any accelerator problems? I would appreciate any help or info.
