I believe it just pulls off. I think it has metal clips that go into slots in the roof panel.
I looked in the manual and it just says to remove it but doesn't say how.

I took a look this afternoon - those plastic caps covering up the screws that hold it up there? If so that's going to make it cake to take this loose so I can snake an XM antenna wire thru the 3rd brake light
don't get too antsy. I put my XM antenna under the wiper cowl on the passenger side. I used a wire loom and ran it across the firewall (with the other wires). By the steering shaft, there is a rubber grommet. No removing the headliner and it gives a low profile. I've had good signal and no dropouts.
I get 5/5 bars in Satellite. For terrestial I get 0/5 (I live in a non-terrestrial repeter zone-ie. Canada). I have the Skyfi2 and I just used the menu button to get to the antenna aiming section.

I see. I assumed "SW Ontario" was like Windsor or somewhere in that area where you'd pick up the repeaters in and around Detroit.
If you get 5/5 on sat and here in Indy I'm sure there's XM repeaters around so I shouldn't have any problem.
