Wheel Size

I have a 69 F100. It has P255/70R 15 rims on it. I need a spare. I have a set of tires P235/70R 16 and would like to use one for the spare only. If I get a 16" rim would that work?

The tire size will work,but it's gonna be hard to find a 16'' wheel with 5 lug pattern to fit your truck.They are available but are expensive for just a spare.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll try to trade someone the four tires I have for a rim and tire that will fit. Don't know why I didn't think of that first.

Sell the tires outright,5x5 1/2'' wheels are "dime-dozen".Unless you want something pretty,you can probably find a good wheel/tire combo for $50 or less.And have a couple $ left over.
