Question working time

I wonder how many hours do you work per week on how many days?

How many hours do you must work?
How many hours are overtime?

I have to work a min. of 37 hours a week, Monday to thursday 8 hours and Friday 5 hours, but the last years I had an average of 42 to 45 hours/week
For the overtime I have the choise to get paid (hello Mr. Taxman ) or I can get freetime

For this year I have 270 hour overtime and 20 Days holiday left....

just curious

Jens.

..unfortunately I was ask today to work on xmas.

I am retired from my professional career. I currently work part-time as a college career counselor. I work three days weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 7:30a.m. t0 4:30p.m. On Wednesdays I teach a night class from 7:00 - 8:30. I work mid August until the end of May and have a four day weekend every weekend and all summer to fish and camp! Couldn't ask for a better schedule.

I do occasionally stay on campus during the evenings for evening meetings or to meet with students but I can set that schedule myself!

Sorry about having to work Christmas day. As for me, I leave on December 10th and won't return to work until January 4th. During that time I am taking a cruise to Belize, Honduras, and Mexico in the southern Carribean and also spending a few day in New Orleans!

When I was working I was putting in and average of 50 to 55 hours a week. My job had me traveling from one end of Montana to the other, also Idaho, Washington and Canada. I didn't get to see my kids grow up.

Im self employed [construction] my schedule depends on how backed up I am. If Im really slammed 7 days a week until Im caught up. Otherwise 8 to 10 hour days. when it gets slow maybe a week off here and there.

My hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and usually a half day or more every other Saturday. Once in the while I have to work late or come in early for something special. Probably average 47-52 hours a week on average.

I used to work 60+ hours a week in retail. Now I have the perfect hours. A little early though. Mon - Thu 4:30 to 2-5. I get off whenever I am done.

I work 72 hours a week in a three day long shift. 56 of those hours are straight time and the remander is "scheduled overtime". On occasion I work "unscheduled overtime" as well.
My work day starts at 7:30am although I have to get up at 5:00 to be there on time!

I get home about 9:00 am three days later!

Overtime is rare, but I get paid production along with base pay.

I'm currently looking for a part-time job for this winter to make some extra cash and kill some time.

I work 4 10 hr shifts spread over 5 days with one in between for shift change/rotation.

Generally get 2-4 o/t hours a week, which is fine...the taxman taketh away after more than 10, so I don't bother with that much.

Spring/Summer/Early Fall 50-55 hours average.

LateFall/Winter 30 Hours average, unless we get a lot of dealer orders in Oct/Nov for Boat Show units, then it can hit 70-80 for a week or so. (God I hate rolling glass!)
