Brakes
* Re one side at a time, that 's great advice. If you screw up and end up with both sides taken apart be sure that you have a digital photo on hand which you took before beginning.
* Re front wheel bearings: You can clean them up and repack them. I've always used the tried and true moosh-it-around-in-my-hand method but AutoZone and others sell nifty little devices to assist and I'm sure they are much less messy. Just follow the directions in the manual regarding torquing (you need a torque wrench) the nut and buy new cotter pins.
* Re inviting WillyB over to help you out, give him the beer AFTER the job.
