2001 Ranger Edge question

I got my Ranger about 4 months ago and has 2600 miles. I have noticed that if I take off quickly it feels like it jerks a little. It also does it when coming to a stop. When I take off slower or stop slower it doesn't do it. I have a limited slip diff. and was wondering if maybe it was the clutches engaging. Does it have a break in period or is this normal? Or could it be something else.

It might just be rear leaf spring wind up that you are sensing. I don't think you would notice a difference between locking axle and non locking axle unless the road is slick or you are leaving burn out rubber in your trail.

2001 Ranger Edge question

Hi! I just posted a question about this myself. I also have a 2001 Ranger Edge 4X2, but I don't have limited slip. I have only 2500 miles on mine and my truck does the same thing.I'm taking it to the dealer this Friday to get this and a heater problem checked. I'll let you know what they find.
