Ford Racing Headers
I ordered a set last Wednesday, does anyone curently have these or anny other headers and what have been your results. By the way I have a 94' F250 4X4 withh a 5.8L and an slushbox

Havn't done it yet,but will soon. What style did you order? It seems alot of people choose shorties for price and ease of installation. I'm sure equal length long tubes would yield more power. What are you doing with the air pump and tubing that work with the stock exhaust? If you eliminate them does it effect the ECU and air/fuel ratios? There's alot of stuff that makes up that system and it would be nice to get rid of it and lose the parasitic drag of running that pump.

I got the shorties my mechanic said you can elimanate everything but the egr tube. I would replace them my self but I don't have the time with work. But there should be no adverse effects by removing the smog pump.
