2100 motorcraft problem...
I just finished re-building the 2100 series motorcraft carb on my 71 F100 302, Ive found that now I have fuel spraying thru the top of the carb and my gas pedal is sticking to the floor, although I LOVE working on my Ford, I'm an extreme shadetree mechanic, Id appreciate insight from some of the wiser ford guys.

As for the pedal, are you sure you hooked up the return spring and other throttle linkages correctly when you put the carb back on the manifold?
Assuming the gaskets are on properly, the fuel spraying could be caused by not making sure the wire that holds the float in place is clipped in place in the indentation on the needle seat.
