For those of you that are hearing a clunking noise from the front end, I just had my 03 SuperDuty in for service and the links on the sway bar were shot !
Hmmm I just started noticing a clunking noise when I ride over ruts in dirt roads. I thought it was just the leaf springs being cranky. I better check again. Thanks.
I just took my sway bar off and the clunking is gone. I can see that the end link bushings are shot so for the quick fix until you get the new bushing just take the thing off.
I've got 35,000 on mine. I started to notice the clunk when I would drive over small bumps and entering my driveway (small curb) At first I thought it was something in the glove box moving around,but I eliminated that thought quickly.
