Dome Light
I posted a message about the dome light not working on my '97 ranger. i have since bought a new fuse and it comes on, however, it doesn't go off now. I've read other postings with this problem, and i see that i have to spray the connection. i've tried doing this, but to no avail. perhaps i am spraying the wrong part, i think not, but just to make sure, could somebody please describe what part to spray with wd-40. is there anything else i can do or just say screw it and not bother with a dome light? Thanks.

Dome Light
I just did the WD 40 thing Sat. morning on my 1996 Ranger XLT and it worked like a charm. I wasn't sure which area to spray either so I shot some up in the door latch, then put some in the small access area that goes into the handle mechanisim on the inside of the door frame and finally put some in the door handle from the outside. One of them worked. My light and door ajar alarm work like new.
