hi has any one else tried making a half cab for a bronco. kind of like having a super short bed pick up. i have a 79 and was thinking of trying it on mine because of the price to redo the rear tailgate and the rear power window. well anyhow just looking for good ideas thanks
The second 'blazer' pic looks like a truck and not a blazer with a half cab top on it. and the bronco kit descriptions are vague and confusing but if I had 700 bucks to throw around i'd try it.
Hey guys I never said it was a quality piece of merchandise, just provided the link for reference since the question was posed.
Personally don't see the need to do it. Trade the Bronco in for a shortbed F150 if you ask me. Seems like a waste of a rather complex tailgate and would mean filling all those holes that hold the top mounting bolts. Not to mention that pickups are built with the bed separate so that any load in it isn't twisting and bouncing the driver's cabin the whole time. The complete Bronco will net more in trade for a shortbed pickup than the converted Bronco will ever be worth. Just $0.02 from a Bronco enthusiast.
