Injector problems

Trakman originally posted for us on 11/7/04 but due to continuing problems I decided to login & post more info. Our truck is a 2003 F350 dually with an engine build date of 12/02. It was put into service in 6/03 pulling a gooseneck trailer hauling loads up to 12,000 lbs. & we average about 6,500 miles per month. Our first problem was a rough idle & vibration, 1/30/04 & 49,065 miles, & local dealer reprogramed PCM TCM & FICM per TSB 03-20-12 & cleared the codes. Same problem on 4/12/04-53,904 miles & dealer says normal after reprograming PCM also had to replace AC compressor but out of warranty-local dealer did 50/50 cost share. Same idle problem on 7/26/04-89,195 miles dealer replaced #8 injector under warranty. Idle problem again on 9/16/04-98,652 miles, dealer replaced #5 injector under warranty. While on the road, 11/02/03-108,404 miles, we lost power but managed to limp home. Dealer replaced all LH injectors-2,4,6,& 8 not under warranty! (OUCH)11/04/04-108,445 miles same song different verse- #7 injector this time. Dealer tells us they have had injector problems with early build 6.0 engines & that the new injectors in the LH side should resolve the problem. I told them the down time hurts us more than the repair bill, which ain't good (injectors are $287 each after core return) so had them replce all RH side injectors with new so we would have all new in engine. 11/16/04-108,752 miles & still having same problems, dealer finds low fuel pressure & replaces fuel pump (another $427 not under warranty) & also replaces #2 & #6 injectors, again, which tested bad (but at least under warranty). 11/19/04-109,223 miles here we go again with the same problem of no power & rough idle. Dealer replaces injector #4 again & for some reason they don't seem to want to talk to me any more. I did check to see if we could buy a 7.3 engine (previous 3 trucks we had with 7.3 engines ran over a million miles combined total without ever replacing a single injector) to replace the junk 6.0 we currently have but was told that wouldn't be very easy to do. Did price a new build 6.0 but don't have $9,300 in the budget. I plan on calling the Ford 800 number hotline on Monday to see if I can get them to commit to helping out with some of these bills but I doubt that will do any good. Any suggestions would be appreciated (my boss is ready to say trade it on a Chevy which is what another division of our company has already done because of rear axle gear problems Ford can't seem to fix either-but that's another story). I've been a Ford fan all my life but things like this make it tough to continue to support & promote the brand.
HELP!

Bachsboss....you know the old saying.....them 7.3's take a licking, but they just keep on ticking! . Really, I hope you can get some satisfaction from mother Ford. If not, you'll get alot of good advice from here. Mention that awful "Chevy" word to them and maybe they will sit up and take notice! Keep me posted...
