I may be putting a 351m from a 2wd 4 spd f-150 into my 4spd 4wd f-150.
First, will the motor mounts from the 2wd work in the 4wd? I currently have a 300-6 now.
Second, will I need to get a different oil pan - rear sump vs front sump?
Just wanted to see if it would be worth paying a little extra for the whole pickup if I could use the other parts, put the 300 back in the 2wd and sell it again.
Let me rephrase - I realize the 300 and 351 are different mounts. I meant to ask whether or not I can take the 351, including the mounts, out of a 2wd and drop into the 4wd, or will I need to get 4wd 351 mounts?
