i live in se texas and had been having a problem with my 03 f250 6.0 not "taking off" from a dead stop very quickly unless i put on the brakes and ran the rpm's up alittle....just unplugged the EGR today to see what would happen and it seemed to have done something to help that problem...now when i hit the pedal it takes right off with no sluggish behavior at all...

the egr disconect worked better with my tuner box..The turbo lag was gone and smoked alot less on start up and decell..I found out that the 04 truck might get a check engine light because a friend had done the same and his light came on..
