I'll be brave an fill you in. I think it has to do with the duct work for the defroster. If your windshield is sloped ,like it is, and your truck is not even close to being level and then you level it , then the defroster only blows to a certain point of the windshield because the duct work is sloped to match the original slope of the wind sheild. Maybee I need to draw a picture.
Ok--so if I load my truck with 2000 lbs of stuff and now the rear sits lower than the front what will happen....guess the defroser won't work then either. Your logic is way off base----the angle of the ductwork relative to the windshield won't change after the liftkit (unless it it gimballed like a gyroscope of course, but to my knowledge no vehicle in existance has gimballed ductwork..it's even fixed in the space shuttle...I'll bet it wouldnt affect their defroster either, but they have electrically heated windshields).
You could hang the truck from the bed like they did in the commercial and the angle from ductwork to the glass would be the same. Don't quit your day job and apply for an engineering position at Ford.
