Smittybilt nerf bar question

Hey everybody, I own an 04 FX4 and I'm ordering Smittybilt predator bumper guard. I also was going to order their nerf bars, but the off road place said they advised against them due to problems w/ rust. They recommended Westin. Does anyone have any experience w/ them. Thanks for the help.(figured this was the best forum for long term test info)

Westin stuff seems ok. Our 2000 F250SD at work has Westin nerf bars on it and they haven't rusted yet.

Blue Blooded,I put a set of Westin platinum series, black powder coated stainless on my 03 screw and like them so far,easy to install.

No rust on my Westins...but I am in Aridzona...and rust isnt really a problem!
