After having problems with my truck (86 ranger 2.9 V6) been wanting to get hooked up to a computer to see what is going on with it. Been reading alot of posts and people saying the some AutoZone's will only hook it up if check engine light is on. Well believe it or not my truck does not have one. I thought maybe it was burned out but after taking the dash off today there is none at all. Just the seatbelt, brakes, 4x4, low range (4x4 and low range don't work assume switch is bad replaced bulbs), Emissions, water in fuel, and check oil.
There are only bulbs on the brake, seatbelt, 4x4 and low range. There are no sockets for the rest of the lights where bulbs would plug into. I am still having a little problem with it like it is not getting enough gas, I really want to get a computer on it but I am wondering if they will since there is no lights on it? Any suggestions? Thanks
Heck. Take it there anyway. Whatrtheygonnasay? Go away? It's "free" that means you don't have to pay for it. Unless you live way out in the sticks and it takes a few hours to get to and AutoZone.
