Maybe a testament to how great these engines are. Not much to talk about.....just mileage and muffler questions. I wish I could get away with no cat in Massachusetts. My wonderful state regulates EVERYTHING. According the Mass. RMV rules my Headers, Ypipe, Muffler, and Tailpipe are illegal. Anything that increases noise any louder than stock is a NO GO!!!!!! For kicks when I was installing my highly illegal exhaust, I started the truck with headers and Ypipe only....With the O2 sensors plugged in...........FRIGGIN loud. Fired up after the cat was hooked up and no muffer or tailpipe......sounds exactly then as it does now with a muffler and tailpipe.......I want a High Flow cat but the emmessions test are SO VERY STRICT i bet it will fail.

I saw some stuff at advance auto parts that says you can pass sniffer test after you put in the tank.I know the V10's are rock solid, just kinda playin' with this post.I have almost 100,000 miles, same hoses, belts, front brake pads, light bulbs, it's amazing!I know i am gonna change some of those items.

That's right, the v10 is so frail and fragile that any kind of modification whatsoever means that your torque curve will fall so low that the only thing you can tow is an empty car dolly.
