Remote Start

Thinking about installing a remote start system on my 03 PSD. Does Ford have this accessory available, can I install it and any idea on how much it costs?

I just had one installed by my local car stereo/alarm guy, they can get pretty involved , more so with the diesel. if you have one put in make sure they solder all connections, dont let them use t-taps, over time they will loosen up and cause problems. Mine also has a nice tubo timer feature. It cost 200 installed , i think the unit itself cost around 75-100.

Had one installed on my 2000. Its made by Viper and works great. Turbo cool down auto start every 3 hours if you want including the alarm.

Over 3 years ago now a Viper 550 ESP was installed in the 99 F250 PSD. It's got the remote start and alarm and keyless entry and the option to open the windows via keypad.

It was about $400 installed at Circuit City and the truck fires when the WTS light goes off. My wife want's one in the Excursion now.
