Bigger Tires

I have an 02 Crew cab, looking at putting bigger and wider tires on. How wide and tall can i go. I have 265 75 r16s there now.

The safe answer is usually 285/75-16's for a stock truck. Depending on your setup - you may be able to clear 305/70-16's. I have a 2" lift on my truck and my 305's will rub under certain conditions.

Without any mods,and stock wheels, 285's no problem.

I just put on 16x10 and 305/70's and it is the best looking combo. I doubt I will go with a lift or leveling kit. Looks great now IMHO.
