Carter YFA ports
I got a I-6 with a Carter YFA non-feedback (as far as I know). When I got my 'project' truck, half the vacuum lines are either removed or not connected to the correct places. I spent most of the day rerouting according to emissions sticker but run into the problem of trying to figure out the ports on the carb. I have a Haynes & Chiltons but both really don't explain the routing off the Carter YFA. Went to Advanced Auto to get help identifying parts and that was no luck! In addition, the emissions label has a component 'P/D MTR' what does this stand for and what does it look like? The problem is I have no way of id'ing components & the major auto parts places call them differently from Ford & most people have no experience with carbs (at least from my experience here). If someone has an I-6 w/ Carter YFA, pics of the engine compartment and/or vacuum components would be GREATLY appreciated!!
