Just when I thought my Bronco was done breaking something new comes up. When I brake my truck pulls to the left hard. I was doing 60 and hit the brakes and it almost threw me off the road. The wierd thing is that it does not always do it, just when it feels like it, maybe 50% of the time. Any ideas of what it could be? Thanks! btw, 88 5.0

One of your calipers is bad. Sounds like the passenger side, since it pulls to the left. It is advisable to replace them in pairs anyway. A very easy job to do, the hardest thing is removing the wheel...
Replace your calipers and your trouble should be gone, unless there is a RABS valve problem.
i just replaced both front rotors and pads, we had the first snow of the season this morning and my front brakes lock right up. she is a 94 e.b. and it has a abs light it use to stay on all of the time but now it dosent. why are they locking up so easy?
Do they lock up all the time, or only under certain conditions? One problem that seems to happen to these broncos are flash rusting of the rotors. It is a known problem. It normally shows upon the first use of the brakes. They will lock up quickly, then work fine.
Thanks for the help! Just got the new ones, put them on and problem solved. I thinl I got a bunch of mud in the rubber seals and that is what caused them to mess up. If you look in my gallery I posted a pic of my truck in the mud, fun stuff!
