Amp?

I have like no room to put a sub. Is it worth it just to put an amp? If so, what kind of amp should I get and how many watts. Not looking to spend more that $250. THanks

What vehicle are you driving? Do you just want to add an amp to your stock speakers? You need to give more info.

well first of all what kind of truck do you have. because sometimes you have more room than you think, it may require some custom box building though. as far as size of the amp it depends on what you are hooking up to it. let us know a little nore info and we can help you out a little more.

I drive a 1987 F-150 standard, cab longbed. Yes I was going to hook it up to 6 by 8 pioneers if its worth the money.

If you can't give up any space behind the seat, then a small amp (maybe 100 watts)will help, but don't expect too much

Are you sure you can't put a sub box and amp behind the seat? If you just add an amp to the 6x8's (do you have 2 or 4?) it will be louder, but once you reach the limit it will just start to distort and sound bad.
