1996 351W Timing

1996 351W Timing
I have just recently rebuilt my 1996 5.8L and I have been unable to find the spout connector, from what I have read this needs to be disconnected to properly time the ignition. I have installed a Comp cams cam shaft will the timing still be 10 TDC like stock?

The connector is located on the drivers side fender wall near the brake booster. If you have cruise control then it'll be next to the servo. You should feel a difference at 12-13*, and you can even go from there to just before it starts knocking, but I don't think you'll gain anymore past 14*.
