The only bad part about buying something that size on ebay is the shipping is a killer. I sold one just like that and shipping was up near 45 buck's!

Hmmmm, I don't know how that would look after trying to dye it blue. It is of a vinyl material and I don't think it will absorb the blue dye color very well.

Usps wanted $120 to ship me a headliner from Pa. to Wa. Greyhound wanted $35, so thats what I went with. I bought it for $5 on ebay so it wasnt too bad.

Did it Myself

The vinyl on my 77 XLT headline had shrunk and was falling down in places. Went to the fabric store, spent $16. on marine vinyl, lucky to find exact red. Took the old one off, glued down the new vinyl on the cardboard, and put it back up in less than an hour. So easy, and looks great!

I've used vinyl paint before with good results.I used it on dash pads so I'd think a headliner would hold up good being out of direct sunlight and no wear like an arm rest.

I got that exact brown headliner a month ago at pick-n-pull for $5. I did have to put a screw through it to keep it up (too heavy for the velcro strip)

I'm thinking about moving to the midwest, and restoring 73-79 F-series trucks for a living, and touring western wrecking yards for oem parts, and selling them. seems like there might be a market for this stuff...

I know a guy that wants to build new cabs from OEM stampings, dealing with ford right now. I think he/we should add beds too.

lol. somehow she does tolerate my "fleet" and even my F-600 toy, and always wants me to sell everything, but hates when I go get something just to sell it... go figure.

she does tolerate this one though...

I just took the picture, my wife is rolling her eyes...lol
