which vacuum port
Anybody know if the distributor vacuum tube is supposed to go to the emission or non=emission side of the Edelbrock 1406 carb. if the engine has no emissions? Only sign of emissions are blocked-off exhaust outlets on back side of heads.
I assume it can be tuned for either?, but don't really want to screw around with it that much if I don't have to.
Thanx for the advice...
There's no need for a lot of things people do! Especially ones suffering from sporadic bouts of immaturity, such as myself.

You may wanna explore full vacuum (facing the carb right port), I have done some reading and since tried it, the engine performs like night and day, in a positive way. I don't plan on changing it back to timed any time soon. later
Thanks for the input, I currently have it on the right-facing port because of the difference in performance. Didn't know if it was pure chance in adjustments or if that was the correct side (kind of figuring things out as I go). Thought it was possible that I had things so screwed up that the wrong side worked better.
