Anyone have advice on a type or brand of seat covers for an 03 Crew Cab - I have the sport Int. and the black seats show a lot of wear really easy - It's a love hate relationship - love the way they look - hate the way they wear - My front seat has the fold down center console - rear is a bench with the fold out console. Would like to find some that match decently and fit the seats. Where you purchaced them and what you paided would be great.
i like me wet okole seat covers a lot. They are neoprene, so they are water proof and are also padded... they actually are more comfortable to sit in. When you order them you tell them what seat setup you have, and they don't actually make them until you order them to your specifications... they fit perfectly. You also pay for that quality I have had mine for almost a year now, and they still look as good as they did the day i got them (just not quite as clean ). You can get them from Cabelas... not sure who else sells them..
Just to be consistent, I also have to give my vote for the Wet Okole seat covers.
I've had mine on for a month or so, and I love them. They are expensive, but they're worth the money, and they look almost like OEM they fit so well. Spend the money on them - you won't regret it.
seatcovers.net has about every kind of seat cover imaginable. My boss got covers for the fronts only. They look good, fit nicely, etc. They get daily abuse since we're in and out of the truck 10-15 times a day. They're about a year old and look like Day 1. Sure saves wear 'n tear on the leather seats in his '04 FX-4. Oh BTW, the seat covers are faux sheepskin (or whatever it's called!)

I just put mine in a little while ago, so I haven't used them in hot weather yet, but I would think it would be different from being inside neoprene waders. At least here you just sit on them, rather than inside them. So far, they're great in the 'autumn' type weather...
I know what you're talking about, though - I've sat in neoprenes on some early season duck hunts when it's been warm out and been practically roasted to death. Here's hoping that doesn't happen with the covers...
I have them in my 84 Bronco full size, you cannot get much hotter weather then Phx. I really like them a lot. I just haven't decided to cover up the leather in my CC PSD yet. But when I do it will be with the wet okole's from Cabela's.
02superstroker,
I really like that console you made too. I was gonna ask how much you would charge to make me one. The only thing is I have my brake controller partially in the way so I would need the front left corner a little shorter to accomidate it. But I do want to put a CB radio in my truck and that would be perfect. !!! Let me know. Plus I might be able to get the matching leather to cover it in.
If not send me the specs on the box or something and let me copy it.
Umm specs.. i don't really have any. I just made some patterns for it's shape with cardboard then went to cutting... There are some pictures of it while I built it in my gallery, and some more detail in a tread i started a while back about it.. just do a search for "center console".
good luck.
rmilchman- I don't have the armrests that are attached to the seat, mine is the fold down center deal. The covers are made especially for your design... so i am sure as long as you describe what you have good enough, they will make you what fits best.
thanks for all of the info on the seat covers - have to say they look great - unfortunatly I wasn't planning on spending $400 on seat covers and was looking for something mostly for when I'm hunting and at the lake. was thinking more in that 150+- a few range - I realy like the way the sport pkg seats look and I'm pretty sure that for $400 I could get the fronts completely reapolstered so maybe I'll just use what it has untill they start to show excessive wear and then get um redone. - right now I've been using a black bed sheet when I need one, spent a whole $2.95 on it - Kinda feel a little cheep using a bed sheet in a $30k pickup if ya know what I mean.
I have the WET OKOLE covers also, I like them. I have two labs that I pack around everywhere I go, they practicaly live in that truck. The covers hold up good , WET OKOLE also sells a UV protectant, and a cleaner. They also have a odor eliminator for people with wet, smelly, dirty dogs like me.
