I want to know what would be the best sounding exhaust setup for my 4.6 engine. This is what I want to do: Gibson headers, no cats,h-pipe, true dual..... I dont know what to put on after that... I was thinking between 2 one chamber flowmaster, 2 40 series flowmasters( super or original), or 2 IMCO single chamber. I want my truck to sound louder than straight pipes after the cats(cuz thats what I have right now), and i want it to sound clean. No poping. Could you also tell me where I should end the setup, either out the back or by the passenger door. Will there be any interior resonance with any of these setups cuz I want it loud everywhere.
ive got a 2002 f150 reg cab shortbed... all i have is tru dual with 1 12' glasspack on each side.. cats still on it and 3 inch tips out the back... sounds mean as hell at first startup... pops and cackles.. has a deep tone to it too... 2 1/2 inch stanless steel pipe.. mandrel bent.. done by yours truley
I want to know if i get trul dual one chamber flowmasters, if that would sound better than the 40 series flowmasters. I want to put one of those setups on my truck with headers, no cats, and an h-pipe
