Leather Cleaning

My wife,
Bless her little heart, decided to clean my leather seats.
Not with a good Leather soap, or conditioner, but with Murphys oil soap.
Now, I'm not complaining mind you, But is Murphys Oil soap ok, or good for leather?
Will Murphys oil soap dry the leather out? Should I now be getting some conditioner for the seats?
It worked real good, and the seats look great. Just didn't seem right.
What do you all use and think?

Thanks!

Yes, grab some leather treatment and apply to the seats. Murphy's oil shouldn't hurt it but a good leather cleaner would have been better...oh well. After the leather conditioner you will be fine.

Out of curiosity, are you referring to the "leather" in the Lariat editions or the Leather in the King Ranch's?

Never us a leather SOAP like saddle soap it will destroy you leather. I would wipe the seats down with warm water to get any residue of the murphy's oil soap off. Any sope will attract dirt and hold it next to the surface. After it is clean use a leather conditioner many are out there but Lexol is one of the best is you have a feed or large pet supply near get some Lexol NF.

Well Bear,
That thought crossed my mind after talking to you all, but,
Somehow I think I would loose my fringe benefits if I asked her to do it again Properly.
"LOL"
