looking at a 1999 v-10 and was wondering which rearend is best for me. i do alot of road miles but do my share of pulling. so obviously i want best of both worlds mileage and power. happy medium?
If you're in a position to choose such as regearing, I would do the math for the engine and TIRE size you are using. I would also consider how heavy when towing.

I have an 04 4x4 V10 CC SRW Auto 3.73. It tows my toy hauler well at about 8500lb. I would note that I live in flat FL. If were pushing near max tow rating I would go with the 4.10. If you will be pulling near max and hills I would go with 4.30. You will have to evaluate you planed use for the truck.
Mine makes about 6 trips a year with the TH. It might have to work a bit for a TN trip this year but this is a once a year trip.
