Rattling and noises
I just got a new CD reciever last friday and I love it. Although when I turn it up, the bass that this cd player puts out creates rattles all over my truck. I cannot find out where they are coming from and it's driving me crazy. I can only imagine how bad it is going to be once I replace my factory speakers with some aftermarket ones. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to find these rattles and vibrations and how to stop them? Is there anything I could put in my doors and panels to stop this? BTW I have a 97 F-150 Extended cab lariat. Any suggestions would really help.

There's lots of sound dampening materials. They come in sheets and spray and vary in prices. You would have to remove door panels and and apply the material. Make sure the door panels and tight to begin with.
