Help with Oxidized Paint

Hey all,

I have a 1989 Bronco which has horribly oxidized paint. Stopped in at Kragen the other day to see what they had to fix it. The guy sold me a product called TR3. I have to say that it works great!!! Paint almost looks new, and probibly will after a few more times. It removed most of the scratches, scuffs and brought out one heck of a shine to my faded paint.
Needless to say, I was very impressed. Product runs about 7 bucks a can. I did it the first time with less than one can.
There is also no need to apply wax after using this, as it has a protector added in.

That's great - but les us know if it lasts more than a month or so. As far as I know, TR3 is a type of wax, and a good wax will do the job; but it is removing paint as well as oxidation and the dull stuff usually comes back. By the time you get oxidation, the paint is usually toast, in the long run.

I am not trying to burst your bubble, I've never tried TR3. My paint is pretty good but I have a couple of spots.

So let us know if this stuff keeps the shine on.
