wipers dont work

i put another used wiper motor on n still doesnt work,i checked fuses numerous times. i checked the plug to the motor and there is no power.when i got the truck earlier this year the wipers barely moved .i have a chiltons but it don't show the wiring for this wiper motor connections. there is a green wire with a single gray plug not connected on the engine side just before entering the firewall with a little power.hmmm . cant find a fuse for the motor either. any ideas

What year truck???

for an 84-86 with no delay wipers......

power comes to the switch from the ignition switch on pin A1 on a black with light green markings.

from the wiper switch to the wiper motor you have black with pink markings that goes one of the switch contacts but not sure what it does

The important ones I see are white for low and then dark blue with orange markings for hi

For ones 84 to 86 with wiper delay......

still black with light green to switch like other one

Everything goes through the delay governor before going to the actual motor after that

From the switch, there is a red that goes to the governor and then to the motor, same for a black with pink markings.

The white just comes from the governor to the motor and the dark blue with orange markings bypasses the governor for high speed

Of course black is ground for all these circuits

==============

EDIT - Looked at other diagrams and they all seem to use the same colors.
