I have them on my cobra(factory), and a buddy of mine put them in his mustang II, it made them alot easier to see at night, plus they look as darned cool. On my mustang its hard to say because the gauges in a GT, or Mach 1, or Bullitt are so much different, but if I had one of those others, a cobra gauge cluster would most deff. be swapped in because of the ease of night vision, or even daytimg.

I should have asked my question a little better. I've got a '78 F250, and was wondering about buying one of those kits you see on EBAY. They're some kind of decals. Has anyone used these on the guages on a 73 - 79 ford truck?

I bought a set from the guy on e-bay last year for my truck and was not very happy with them
. I received 4 paper "decals" for the gauges (that look like he made them on his PC and home printer) and a note that told me I would have to remove the spped-o and paint it. I e-mailed the person and let him know that I was not happy, he told me too bad, he had never received any complaints from anyone else. So, I have the mess he sent me still in the envelope he sent them in. I will not ever use them most likely. Good thing I did not spend that much on them. I suppose you may be able to get it done with these decals and some paint, but I'm not sure you would be happy with the final product.-Ed
