77 Highboy Parts
I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find a set of rear cab mounts for a 77 Highboy. I need the steel mounts that are riveted to the frame. Here in PA, it seems most of the trucks I find in junkyards suffer the same problem I have. Also I am swapping in a 1970 Lincoln 460, and need to know if the original engine stands will work for the 460. The truck originally had a 400/C6. If not, which kit do I need from L and L products?? The one for the 73-76 or 77-79? The 73-76 trucks didnt have the 400, and I dont think my early 77 highboy is included in the 77-79 category. One more question. Is the bellhousing from a 351/400 the same as the 460? Any help is appreciated.. Thank you!!!

I'm guessing that your body mounts are rotted, so there is a HUGE hole in them, instead of just a 1/12 or so Dia. hole....I fixed this on my truck by cutting up some 1/8 steel, and weding it on the mount, then I half-assed it by torching the hole in it for the cab mount, but it works great, I have no clue about the motor mounts, but I'm pretty sure the bell housing will work for the 460

Where in PA are you located? Is your 77 an early 77 or a 77 1/2? I don't believe the 460 mounts from the lincon will work, or the ones for a 351m/400.
