Unplug the connector underneath the driver's seat and it will shut up forever.

I'm having the exact same problem on the truck I just bought. It will do 5 series of 5 beeps when i start it and on a random occasion while I'm driving.

I have been searching my brains out on this topic.... on a mustang site I found a little information in regards to a series of 5 beeps. it said that the 5 beeps (in an early 90's 'stang) were a warning chime for the air bag system. Of course I don't know if its the same for an F250.

Anyone have better information? I hate to take it to the dealership but if i can't find anything....

My '99 cannot be programmed in that manner, it's simply not in the design. The only option for me is to unplug the connector under the seat.

Try being legal and safe and put your seatbelt on! There is a reason They call them idiot lights and bells/buzzers.

Sorry, That comment was a little harsh. I do not mean to be a jerk, I just came from a car accident with a dead mother and child, both went through the windshield and would have been fine if they were wearing their seatbelts. Some people will not learn. So I apologize for my rudness it is just aggrivating to see little kids die for no reason.
