Cleaning Ford Droppings?

My driveway is starting to look crappy from my oil leaks. What do you guys use to clean the concrete? I don't have a power washer, just a hose. Would simple green and a scrub brush cut it or do I need a more powerful chemical?

Thanks

I would think any kind of a grease cutting soap would do the trick, along with some good ole elbow grease (just dont drip any of that on the driveway, or you'll hafta scrub that too, haha).

Tide powder, put it on the driveway at the end of a good soaking rain storm. Dampen it and let it set for 3 to 4 hours, (overnight is even better) scrub with a stiff brush and hose off.

Greg has a good answer. I have used cat litter or oil dry for years and just grind it into the surface with my foot. If you have a large area tho the Tide method may work better.

Cool, Thanks guys. I have detergent on hand so I'll try that this weekend. I don't have a huge area. I have two small areas from parking forward and backward in the driveway. I guess it's not bad considering I will have the Bronco for a year in December.

Found some stuff called "Pour and Restore" I found it at ACE it was a bit pricy and I believe you can find it elsewhere for less.

It is a white liquid, kinda of like a liquid comet, smells like citrus.

Pour it on the spill and as it drys it pulls the oil out of the concrete. After it drys you just brush it away.

Varsol does a pretty good job along with a stiff corn broom.

I was just reading this, I'm going to try it. like a dummy I changed the oil in my big rig on the slab in front of my shop

For example, the most popular concrete and grout cleaners on the market contain phosphoric acid. This acid will, under most circumstances, do as good a job as muriatic acid... but with less danger. Phosphoric acid cleaners also contain chemicals which emulsify oils to help the acid work more effectively and safely increase its cleaning properties
