brake warning light intermit flashes
93 ford ranger 4x4 4.0 auto
brake warning light flashes on intermittly,cold hot dry wet weather
matters not sometimes when driving over a bump sometimes not
disconnected grd from e brake no change
disconnected grd from master cylinder no change
abs light not on

Follow the lines coming out of the master cylinder. These should lead to a block called the proportioning valve. Look on this valve and see if it has a wire hooked to it, or a wire hanging around that should be hooked to the valve. If you find one, follow this wire up carefully, looking for where it may be touching metal. When this wire is grounded, the light comes on.
