Yahooooo!!!!!!

I got a knock at the door half a hour ago and it was my dad (he hasn`t been here in over 4 years) any way thats not what I`m so hapy about . My dad and grandpa brought my jeep out here for me so I can finaly get to work on it

cool, looks like your gonna be occupied for a while. lol what year is it? any specific plans for it like suspension engine, paint, axels ect? have fun

Oh yes sorry I forgot to add in my first post that ita a 1977 CJ5 with a 304 V8 , 3 speed tranny , and auto hubs.

Right now my plans are to get it street leagal , it hasn`t been street leagal for many many many years. It needs tail lights , marker lights , headlight switch, all the lighting wiring, rear main seal, clutch feals like its slippin, carb rebuild , port the heads and port match the intake, fix the trans case linkage ,needs a new windshild , put muflers on it , pull the dents out of the headers and weld the pin holes, make an EGR block off plate, fix the frame where it rusted through, I forgot about 100 other things. As you might have gessed the body wont get much work for a while sides a coat of flat black.

Yeehaaaw I just got it started up for the first time in a year! I didn`t get to move it very far though I only needed to pull it up a foot or so I could get behind it to pull off more patch panels. I had to take the top off the carb and fill up the fuel bowl to get it to run though

. There is a blocked fuel line , bad fuel pump or its out of gas. The gas gauge hasn`t work since I`ve had it so I have no idea of how much gas is in it

. I used to just put 5 gallons in it for the week end on the farm because I didn`t drive it much . When I went to the farm it I worked from 8 till what ever time it started to get dark then I`d goof off in the jeep for a short while , go feed the cat fish in the pond then get to the house for dinner
