Rear speaker question

I have a 92 ex-cab F-150 and I need to replace the rear speakers. My question is do I have to remove the panels or just the speaker grilles to replace them?

Thanks

Just the grilles. I will warn you, on the new speakers make sure the magnets don't hit the cab sheetmetal. Some have a deeper design than factory. If they do and you tighten the screws, you'll end up with a dent on the outside of the cab. Don't ask how I found that out. I ended up using about 1/4" spacers, and the grilles still fit fine.

Not to hijack, but is it the same on a 95 single cab? Just take the grilles off and be all set or no?
