Your not bias are you, since they are a supporter? I am going to buy from them the other filters. But I need a good reason to buy the bypass system and I am trying.
Anyone else have an opinion?
How long should you go between changes with the bypass system. I change every 3,000 now and use Rotella T.
A friend of mine used to be in that business and he said that the Oilguard was very a good product.
How long you go between oil changes should be dictated by how your oil analysis reports look. Start at the factory recommended change interval and then start working your way out longer.
From what I've read on this board, the limiting factor for the 6.0 might be viscosity breakdown by the motor beating the oil to a pulp. Again, oil analysis will show this.

YES, I am biased; I bought my OilGuard and installed it long before they ever became a sponsor.
I did not report on this forum until months after the installation and use… if it was good or not. Did this all on my own, without the knowledge of Ken the owner of FTE and Mark the owner of OilGuard….I am JUST like you a consumer…I will standup for any product that first, is technologically sound and second, the company will stand behind their product, and third they are decent to work with….(This is my personal requirements for any company) OilGuard exceeds in all of these categories and FTE is proud to have them as a sponsor. Remember without sponsors you and I are not on this site learning ……I also support MotorHaven and ALL of the sponsors of FTE
You do not test the used oil, (so to speak) you stick the cup under the OilGuard unit and run a bit of the current oil in the cup, and send it off...then, when the analysis comes back you say time to change or wait another 2k and repeat the process...some go 2k more some 3k more some check every 3k or 1.5k…all up to you
