Center Console...

Well, here are a few pictures of a recent project I did. Wanted a place to mount all my switches for my lights, and wanted a nice uniform look. While I was at it i decided I could get the CB off the dash too. The pictures made it look pretty grey, but the neoprene I used on my console matches my seat colors perfectly. This is one project that certainly turned out a little better than expected. I also have some pictures of it's skeleton from while I built it if anyone cares to see them, let me know and ill upload them. Just an idea for you guy's who also like your cabs organized.

That looks really great! Just gave me a bunch of ideas. Though I will miss that, what did you say it was??? Oh yeah, garbage bag holder - I've always refered to it as waste of perfectly usable dash space... I think I'd like to cover mine with some carpet to match the factory color. Does anybody know where I could pick some of that up or something similar? I wouldn't mind seeing the frame picture, that would be helpful. Thanks for a great idea!!

Here are some pictures I took while I was building it. I made the frame out of 3/4" plywood, pretty simple. Then the outside I used 1/2" foam stuff and glued it on. The neoprene I got from an online store, foamorder.com. That I stapled on, on the underside. Sorry the pics arn't better of it while I was building it... hey who wasnts to be using a camera when there are power tools to play with!
