I'm giving serious thought to putting a Revtek 2 1/2" leveling kit on my '05 F250. It seems to be a pretty complete kit - it includes the new front shocks, and for the F250 kit, it includes the rear block spacer to lift the rear end up to F350 height. Anybody had any experience with Revtek and have an opinion on the quality? Any feedback is appreciated...
Also, I'm planning on running some 315/70R-17 BFG T/A's on her - anybody put a level kit and 35's on their '05 F250 I can see what it looks like?...
Hey! my new 05 should be here any day now. I've been waiting for over 2 months and have had way to much time to consider lifts, wheels tires. I'm either going to do the same as you, 2.5 leveling with 35's or get a 6" lift with 37's. Ive heard the revtek is fine as it is only putting a spacer in. I can't see spending 400-500 bucks on a 2.5" leveling kit with new coils ect. I'll probably try the revtek spacers just to get the 35's on, if it is crap I'll rip it out and get the 6" donahoe when it comes out. Let me know what you decision is and we can compare our results
Baka - sounds like a plan. I might have to wait a little longer, since I've been told that a lot of the wheel manufacturers are behid the 8-ball in getting wheels to market that will fit our rigs. I guess we have need some kind of wierd offset to keep 35's from sticking too far out of the wheelwell. As soon as I get the kit on I'll let you know...
Although I didn't go with the Revtek kit for my '03, they were very helpful on answering questions such as spring rates and shocks. I would call them and ask away.
