hey whats going on, this is a great forum nothing but fords nice!! i need some orientation i just pulled a HO 302 from a 89 mustang and im about to tear it down and freshen it up,i know pistons are forged so they'll be able to take the bangs n blows but my question is what performance cam can i possibly use im planning on making it carburated(oh its going into a 75 GRANADA)or will the stock roller cam deliver decent horses?I have single plane WEIAND intake should a better intake if i do get a bigger cam? thanks

For a street engine the single plane intake isn't ideal....a weiand stealth or edelbrock performer rpm would be a better choice (dual plane).
The stock roller cam isn't that bad or should I say its capable...so it might be worth your time to focus on the heads/intake/carb and tune the snot out of it. Just a thought, later
