Sleepers sounds to me like a normal looking car that has a lot of power under the hood. Kinda like a Taurus SHO or a Miata with a 302!

But a Stang ain't a sleeper so who knows?

My 1990 5.0 LX Mustang was a sleeper. It wasn't the GT version with all the ground effects and all that. Looked like a normal Mustang, if you didn't notice the dual exhaust and the huge rear tires...

Maybe a LX 5.0 is a sleeper for non-car people, but my eye always goes to the rear of the car looking for those dual chrome pipes!

To me a sleeper is a quiet, normal looking car, if it's quiet and has some power, better watch out, you don't know what to expect, and if there aren't any markings, special kits, etc. that is what decides it is a sleeper to me. I'm hoping to turn my ranger into a loud semi-sleeper, lol. but yeah, thats more than likely what the sleepers inc sticker is

Yeah I had a 90 GT, sold it with 150,000 miles on it. I missed it so much that 4 or 5 years later I bought a virgin 91 GT. It's just a pleasure car. I'm trying to hold onto it, but it's hard to justify the tax/insurance/license expense sometimes.

Foxes are the best by far, hold onto it man, You know you will regret it if you sell it. This one guy I knew had a sleeper, it was a lx hatch with a little blower. Nice car, but he wouldnt even tint the windows or ad an alarm afraid he would lose the sleeper look. Well guess what, he lost the car LOL. Im not into sleepers, but I really hate the guys that make them look fast, but cant back it up.
